Nicolas Cage is (yet again) a total tool in ‘Dying of the Light’

The writer-director of “Dying of the Light” is Paul Schrader, screenwriter of “Raging Bull.” The star is Nicolas Cage — Raging Tool.

Cage’s typically screamy performance is good for a few unintentional laughs in this plodding spy thriller in which he plays a CIA man with dementia who enlists a partner (Anton Yelchin) to track down a Kenyan terrorist who went off the grid after torturing our hero 22 years ago.
