This is a film about a mentally challenged twenty year old man who sustained an injury during his birth, or technically his failed abortion. He visits his mother and her family for the first time on Christmas because his adoptive father has passed away.

In addition to being brutal, gross, creepy, and tragic, they capture family dynamics perfectly and the characters’ behavior is eerily true to life.
