An increasingly surreal look at a community of authoritarian control which tries to break down the will of one man whose individuality surpasses all others. It has become a cult classic, and I think it deserves watching today. In our societies which become increasingly concerned with making sure we all conform in thought and in which freedom of conscience is no longer respected this portrayal of a surveillance micro-society which is both all-knowing and yet constantly being caught off guard by our hero (or are they) is a fascinating prospect which deserves modern audiences.
