Confess, Fletch, 2022 - ★★★

Perfectly okay, occasionally funny, a very abrupt ADR at the end suggests a whole subplot about the actual murder victim—who the movie shows NO interest at all in, weirdly—got cut at the last minute. Hamm’s best scene, non-Roger Sterling edition, is the one in the kitchen with the stoner neighbor; he gets to just react and it’s perfect.

Anyway, this is fine, but I’m kind of confused by the people insisting it’d be a huge theatrical hit if it had gotten a proper release.
