After 11-year-old Lonnie (Sarah Boyd) meets 14-year-old Karen (Rainbow Harvest) while hanging out in their Lower East Side neighborhood, the unlikely pair strike up a friendship. But soon, the two girls from different socioeconomic backgrounds encounter difficulties when they try to blend their two worlds after Karen is caught stealing and Lonnie’s peers pressure her to end the friendship. This touching coming-of-age drama is written and directed by Marisa Silver (He Said, She Said).
