One of the first major feature 3D films, fraught with production woes. Vincent price carries this corny macabre movie like so many others he is in. There are some pretty decent supporting actors including a young Charles Bronson
A slow burn doc about boomer village communities in Florida. The director Valerie Blankenbyl does actually strike a pretty good balance of in Village footage and opinions with the surrounding communities. Though both her and Suroosh Alvi kind of look ghoulish and are pro-migrant leftwing progressives. The interview at the end of The Sort List video showcases the ideology of both Blankenbyl and Alvi....
They hint at f**got sh*t in episode 1, and get explicit with it in episode 3. That's when I bowed out. No break from this sh*t. None
The screenplay had been offered to, and rejected by, virtually every big director in Hollywood before Paul Verhoeven got hold of it. He threw it away after reading the first pages, convinced it was just a dumb action movie. His wife, Martine, read it all the way through and convinced him that the story was layered with many satirical and allegorical elements, leading Verhoeven to direct the film. Concerned...

There's one token black midget, some strong wahmen, and everyone discriminates against the midget calling him a "peck." All minor things that aren't PC or woke. Feel good movie with an absolutely adorable ginger baby as the major plot point. I shudder to look at the remake trailer
A hyperactive mix of internet satire, lets play YouTube series and improv podcast
An increasingly surreal look at a community of authoritarian control which tries to break down the will of one man whose individuality surpasses all others. It has become a cult classic, and I think it deserves watching today. In our societies which become increasingly concerned with making sure we all conform in thought and in which freedom of conscience is no longer respected this portrayal of a...
A show set up to get comedians to talk about politics, news and society more like they would in real life. A lot of this is improv making it far more entertaining than any satire news show with written bits and formulaic remarks. Not too cutting edge for a docu-series, but its pretty interesting to watch. Like The Darkside of the Ring Vice Series, the episodes range from dynamic and interesting, to a hammed up overemotional reactionary tone
A dialogue heavy 2 hour film, dialogue that is mundane, uninterestingly directed and forced to perfectly layout point by point opinions on the Vietnam war. I haven't read the book or seen the podcast of the vets that this is based off of, but I think I can safely assume if your interested in this story you should start and finish at those sources

Give it 2 episodes before you judge it. You'll warm up to the crappy and repetitive synth soundtrack. The low budget makes it more realistic because of how they kiss. It's real life making out, not the Hollywood pretending stuff. Same goes for the child actors fidgeting and grabbing food. Or how they act drunk well. The obligatory cliche coma plot reminded me it's a soap opera...
Basically just a longer episode. Worth the watch though
Great soundtrack. Awesome premise. Bit dated
A classic Cat and mouse revenge hybrid film with some of the best quotes and one liners of any western or Clint Eastwood film. "There's another old saying, Senator: Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining." "Yeah, well, I always heard there were three kinds of suns in Kansas: sunshine, sunflowers, and sons-of-b**ches" "I'm an Indian, all right; but here in the nation they call us the "civilized...
I've got mixed feelings about this film. It captures a believable and inspiring southern atmosphere in a majority of it's scenes, but it's rife with hallmarks of a Hollywood movie developed in order to win an Oscar. Over all I'm glad it exists, but if a few of the overdramatic and shock value scenes were cut to shorten the run time under 2 hours, people might remember it more fondly and regularly
Entertaining and funny series sequencing and dramatizing events surrounding a Kentucky attorney making off with social security funds, focusing on his personal history and the impact the investigation had on his employees, and local community
I Watched the 2 best of/ worst of style episodes at, I think the end third season. Nothing in recent memory has filled me with such a mix of disgust, rage and civilizational dysphoria. In this show a contestant is revealed 7 people's bodies from the legs up, eliminating a person after a new segment of the body is revealed. The last of the 7 people goes on a date with the contestant Since there is...
