‘Black Sea’ is a ripping underwater adventure

In northern Britain, several grumbly, laid-off, middle-aged men stare into their pints and discuss their next move. To you and me, the answer is obvious — take off their clothes while dancing to “You Can Leave Your Hat On.”

But in “Black Sea,” Jude Law et al. have a different idea: Why not use those unemployed hours to rent an ancient submarine, sneak into Russia’s Black Sea right under its fleet and look for several tons of Nazi gold sitting in a forgotten U-boat at the bottom? Really, what could be simpler?
