A crafty guro shock site, but it's feminist!

While the VFX, direction, sounds, acting (barely diverse, oddly enough), and body horror is certainly creative for its subject matter, it is a shame that it's a waste at the end (pun intended). It's not surprising with how the writing is, especially if you check the director's previous work. Don't skip it (but watch if free) if you want to see what would happen if you take certain weird drugs, or if you really are curious how this horror movie got nominated (or maybe won) awards. I'd rather watch Videodrome and avoid Ozempic, thanks.

Biggest shame to me is it could have been a decent commentary on addiction/substance abuse, pride/chasing fame, and modern women refusing to age gracefully, but instead of an ending that ties those themes together and says something, it’s lolsorandumb cheap gore shock porn. Disappointing.
