I didnโ€™t watch the whole movie, but the first few minutes of the film captures the feel through and through I believe. Only watched About 15% of the movie but I feel more than qualified to review it. From what I remember, it opens with some sort of a jewel heist taking place in a mall. After successfully stealing the jewels one of the jewels thieves fumbles and drops their pistol. Upon seeing the piston slide of the ground a woman gasps and yells โ€œGUN!โ€. I donโ€™t think that such a thing would ever happen today, let alone in 1984. After seeing this, and some scene where Wonder Woman walks up to and talks to some little black girl after catching the jewel thieves (It could be me making this scene up or misremembering it but it may as well be in there) I had to rest my eyes and mind and go take a walk.

When I came back the main villain was on live broadcast to the whole world telling them to wish for whatever they wanted. Then, through some murky writing, Wonder Woman wishes for... I donโ€™t know what she wished for, or if thatโ€™s ever what she did, but she ended up defeating the main villain. Iโ€™m not evening going to get into how โ€˜make a wishโ€™ is an extremely lazy plot device.

Over all one of the worst films I have seen in a while. Watched this with a few more liberal progressive friends and not one of them liked it. One positive thing about this film is that; as propaganda it is ineffective, because no one with two brain cells to scrape together can sit through this earnestly. If this film were less propagandistic, less Marxist, it would have been up there with films like Spider-Man 3 and King Kong (2005). Two horrible movies that I love to watch as itโ€™s like watching a slow-motion High-speed 24 clown car pile up.
