Creed III (2023)Movies

One thing I didn't really have space to mention in my review: Michael B. Jordan's cardigan game in this movie is absolutely on point. There's this one outfit that's like, a blazer-cut jersey-fabric cardigan with an off-white henley underneath ... just a primo look. A+ costume design. Really drives home the fact that Adonis is a total nepo-baby.

I liked the movie—I like this whole series of movies!—but I really feel like the whole franchise is kind of hilariously at war with itself. It's a movie striving to insist that a man's name matters less than his deeds, but it's about a guy who only gets his shot because of his name and indeed the whole FRANCHISE is based around that guy's name.
