Knock at the Cabin (2023)Movies

This is kind of a weird movie for reasons I didn't entirely get into in my review (e.g., it's cut like a PG-13 movie, to avoid showing any of the (gruesome in the book) violence, but it was always going to be an R for language, so I don't know why Shyamalan bothered unless the answer is simply "onscreen violence is expensive to create and he's self-funding these things now"), but I still found it incredibly interesting to watch as an example of how adaptation can differ fairly radically from the source material while making the same basic arguments.
