As the next in the series of Knives Out movies, I was not expecting to love this film but I did. It has a totally different feel to it- sunshine, palm trees, and beautiful white mansions and pools. That backdrop does affect the entire movie- this one is a pleasure to watch, the original Knives Out is a bit more dark and ominous. But the main theme is the same: 007, transformed into a famous southern sleuth, solves what ends up being a complex murder mystery. Nicest part- just a fun, entertaining 2 hours and that is sometimes all you need.
