Fun little maritime action-comedy, a typical example of a 60's comedy, though without any of the weird extravagances. It mostly works, though non of the characters are very special and neither are most of the jokes, though some do work. The basic story is that a bumbling officer gets his clothes and identity stolen by a prostitute who now pretends she is him, he ends up being shanghiad, she ends up becoming the officer, with breasts and a very girly face, he becomes a common sailor under the iron thumb of the second in command, with a incompetent captain. Anyway, the action sequences, the bumbling characters, the occasional good humour and the sets do make this a very watchable film, not bad for a dark and rainy night.
