Stiff and Strange
This comedy feels very strange. Almost all the characters have stiff delivery and shot cuts inside of dialogue sequences don't synchronize with each other. The plot draws upon some pretty standard American ww1 and ww2 historic narratives; bashing fascism, dictatorships and what not. Those narratives feel very poorly naturalized to the story and more like its read from a text book. This is a comedy, but only one joke stuck out to me after watching the film; a bit involving Taylor Swift's brief role as a side character and an automobile.
