After having revisited Cameron’s 2009 feature last night, it is with sheer honesty that that review can be reused for this 2022 sequel — albeit, with a couple of nuances. Despite an improvement in technicalities such as blocking, visual effects, and animation, Cameron’s long-awaited (or is it really?) sequel is essentially the exact same story as that of its predecessor. Even then, does the film deliver after the aquamarine Na’vi’s thirteen year absence from the silver screen?
