Everyone seems to truly love this movie but I just could not stand it. It was ALL girl power. When they had Enola tell THE Sherlock Holmes how things should go and he meekly took her advice I was out. A young girl? It is akin to a willowy female round-kicking a huge man. I just want to turn it off it is so absurd. Along with this there was the ever-present 'women are so much wiser than men' trope.  Too much for me.
