A documentary in which Werner Herzog, who is apposed to the death penalty, compiles interviews and video on the Michael Perry's triple homicide case for which Perry is on death row. Herzog questions everyone interviewed in this from his anti-capital punishment perspective, yet maintains a level of skepticism that makes this film engaging to watch, unlike other politically charged documentaries where the premise is skewed for a particular ideological audience the beginning.
