On August 2nd, the rather shocking news made the rounds in numerous outlets that DC’s upcoming Batgirl reportedly has been shelved! Outside of the select few who already saw it in test screenings, no one will ever see this movie again, as it will be and stay vaulted.

@AndreEinherjar reckons that for the future health of the DC brand, that’s probably a really good move. In this editorial, he will explain why the powers that be at Warner went to this extreme step, why it in my opinion is the right move, and what fallout there none the less will be from this.
